New

Sidstuga, straight from your browser

The same channels, movies and series you already watch on TV and phone. Open a tab, sign in, and keep going. No install, no box.

Sidstuga Web is a separate product from Cloud Sync Web (the panel that manages your lists): this is a full viewing client, in a browser. It's included as a perk for existing Sidstuga customers, so you can watch without needing a smart TV. Access is by request while we finish the rollout. Write to us and we'll set you up.

Sidstuga also runs natively on Samsung, LG and Hisense smart TVs (Roku, under evaluation). The browser client lives at tv.sidstuga.app.

Same library

Signs in with the same Cloud Sync account as your TV and phone: favourites and continue-watching already there.

Nothing to install

Open a tab and press play: no extension, no download, no browser add-on to trust.

Any modern browser

Built for the browsers people already use, not tied to a single vendor's ecosystem.

Included

Included with any active Sidstuga licence

Sidstuga Web isn't a separate purchase. A Google Play subscription linked to your Cloud Sync account, an Android lifetime licence (Fire TV or any sideload build) or a Sidstuga TV licence, annual or lifetime: any active one opens it at no extra cost. Sign in with the Cloud Sync account the licence belongs to and it's there.

It needs a Cloud Sync sign-in and an active licence on that account. There is no free trial for Sidstuga Web: the 7-day trials belong to the Android app and to Sidstuga TV. Each browser where you open Sidstuga Web (not the Cloud Sync panel) counts as one of the 5 devices of the Sidstuga TV pool.

Questions

Sidstuga Web, answered

Is Sidstuga Web really free?

Yes, for any Sidstuga customer with an active licence: Google Play subscription linked to your Cloud Sync account, Android lifetime licence or Sidstuga TV licence. There's nothing new to buy, but there is no free trial either.

Do I need a separate account for the browser?

No. Sidstuga Web signs in with the same Cloud Sync account you already use on your TV or phone.

What's the difference between Sidstuga Web and Cloud Sync Web?

Cloud Sync Web (the panel that manages your lists: playlists, favourites and profiles) doesn't play video. Sidstuga Web is a different product: a full viewing client, live TV, movies and series playing directly in the browser tab.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Open a supported browser, sign in with your Cloud Sync account and press play: no extension, download or add-on to trust.

Will my favourites and continue-watching be there?

Sidstuga Web signs in with the same Cloud Sync account as your TV and phone, so your library is ready the moment you log in.
