Pay once. Keep it for good.
The lifetime licence is a single payment for the sideload builds — Fire TV and direct Android — on up to 5 devices, with every future update included. If you would rather install from the Google Play Store, there is a yearly subscription instead.
Which one is for me?
Lifetime licence (sideload)
Launch price — €49.99 after full release
- One payment, yours forever — every future update included
- Up to 5 devices, shared across Fire TV and Android
- 7-day trial inside the app before paying
- Everything included — Cloud Sync, recording, catch-up
- The app updates itself, no store needed
Sideload builds only: Fire TV / Firestick and direct Android. Sidstuga installed from the Google Play Store cannot read a lifetime licence. Any Android box, phone or tablet can use it — having the Play Store does not stop you.
1Install the Fire TV or direct Android build and try everything free for 7 days.
2Buy the lifetime licence only if you want to keep it.
Use the SAME e-mail as your Sidstuga (Cloud Sync) account — the licence attaches to it. No account yet? Create it in the app first.

Google Play subscription
About €0.83 a month, billed once a year
- 7-day free trial
- Android TV, Google TV, phone and tablet
- One subscription covers all your Android screens
- Every feature included — Cloud Sync, recording, catch-up
- Cancel anytime in the Play Store
Billed by Google, tied to your Google account. Already subscribed at an earlier price? You keep it until Google asks you to accept a change.
Why two paths?
A purchase made in the Play Store is only visible to the Play Store version of the app, and a lifetime licence is only visible to the sideload builds. Fire TV and Android boxes without Google Play install Sidstuga outside the store, so the lifetime licence is their only path. On a device that does have Google Play you get to choose: install the direct build and pay once, or install from the store and subscribe yearly.
Buying, briefly
How does the lifetime licence activate?
Pay, install the Fire TV or direct Android build, open Sidstuga and sign in with the same e-mail — done. Up to 5 devices signed in with the same account.
My device has the Play Store. Can I still buy the lifetime licence?
Yes. Install the direct Android build from our install page instead of the Play Store version, and the licence activates there. What decides the build is how you paid, not whether the device has Google Play.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — within 14 days, write to support@sidstuga.app. Play subscriptions are refunded through Google's own flow.
Does the Play subscription work on my Firestick?
No. A Play purchase is not visible to the sideloaded build — that is exactly why the lifetime licence exists. The opposite is true too: a lifetime licence does not activate in the Play Store version.
Is there a trial on the sideload build?
Yes — 7 days inside the app, before any payment.
